All places of worship open today in TN after a gap of 5 days!!

If you are a devotee who goes to Temple or Church or Mosque regularly, then this information would bring huge happiness!!

The news is that after 5 long days, all places of worship have opened once again in Tamil Nadu for the sake of devotees. It is shocking to note that as many as 23888 persons have been infected by Coronavirus yesterday itself in Tamil Nadu. Totally, there are now 29,87,254 persons who have been infected with Coronavirus infection till now. Truth is that the number of deaths due to the infection has increased to 37038.

It is known that the Delta variant was the cause for the second Coronavirus infection wave in May 2021 and now the Omicron variant is triggering the third infection wave that would peak sometime in February. In many public places in the state of Tamil Nadu, restrictions have been imposed to control the transmission of the infection. Till 31st January night curfew would be there and all places of worship were closed down from 14th January to 18th January.

It was mentioned by the TN government that in the temples daily pujas etc would take place but the devotees would not be allowed to attend. On Thaipusam yesterday, special anointing pujas took place in the Lord Murugar temples. The temples, Churches and Mosques that have been closed down for the last 5 days in Tamil Nadu will reopen from today. Today, from the early morning itself, the devotees began to congregate at the places of worship for the darshan.
