Local urban administration election: 19th February will be a holiday for all schools in Tamil Nadu!

On the occasion of the elections for the local urban administration members, Tamil Nadu State Government has declared a holiday for all schools in the state on 19th February (Saturday).
In a notification released by the Director, Directorate of School Education, it is mentioned:
Urban local administration elections are scheduled to be conducted in the State of Tamil Nadu on 19th February (Saturday).
As such, all the schools will remain closed on this day (19th February).
Except for the teachers who are undergoing training (scheduled on 18th February) for the election to be deployed on Election Day (19th February), the schools will function on 18th February with other teachers.
In case more than 50% of the teachers of a school are deployed in the election, these schools will have a holiday on 18th February as well!
