Presently, vegetables in the Chennai Metro City Koyambedu wholesale vegetable, fruits and flower market, vegetables are sold at half the price they were sold until recently!
As the local civic elections were conducted in the State of Tamil Nadu day-before-yesterday (Saturday, 19th February), a holiday was declared for the Koyambedu wholesale market on this day
As such, all the vegetables in stock were sold completely on 18th February itself!
It is usual for 450 to 500 trucks to deliver vegetables at the Chennai Koyambedu wholesale vegetable market.
