The classes have been going for the students in the schools in Tamil Nadu now as the Coronavirus infection has been brought under control. As the schools have resumed the direct physical classes after 2 years, the students have been attending the classes with huge interest.
Various competitive examinations have been stopped in TN in the last 2 years due to this deadly infection. Now, announcements regarding the competitive exams have been released. The TN government has planned to conduct counselling regarding filling up the vacancies, job transfers and for promotions for all the teachers working in the panchayat union, municipal or government primary or secondary schools under the control of primary education movement as per the government’s procedures and government order.
It must be noted that in the counselling for the schools located in the hilly regions, as per the GO number 404 department of education, science and technology dated 25-5-1995 for mountain cycle mode changes, the various protocols mentioned in the GO must be followed and transfers must be provided for the jobs before the date that has been mentioned in the list. Point is that subsequent vacancies must be uploaded on the website. Orders have been issued to the principal education officers to conduct counselling for the teachers. It is now revealed that for those unions that follow mountain cycle mode process date for counselling would be announced later. This is mainly because of the fact that the prohibition order on 11/2/2022. All the primary education officers have been informed about this.
