Registrar offices in TN to function on Saturdays in March!!

Information is that on Saturdays in the month of March all registrar offices would function in Tamil Nadu. Bond registration could be carried out by paying an additional amount of Rs 200 as holiday registration fee.
Mr. P. Murthy, minister for registrations have issued a press release and as per that March being the last month of this financial year there would be overcrowding at the sub-registrars offices. Those who have purchased houses and properties etc by borrowing would be trying to complete bond registration within the month of March and the entrepreneurs would also be in this same situation.
It mentioned that in some sub-registrars offices, on all days, for bond registration more tokens have been registered. Keeping this in mind, all registrar offices would function on the Saturdays due to increased document registrations. Point is that on those days as per TN Registration Act Rs 200 would be charged additionally Public must make use of this opportunity and complete their registration works on time.
