Be careful!! Do not get your ration cards cancelled by this mistake!!

It is known that the Tamil Nadu government has been updating the ration cards from time to time. It is now said that if the instructions given by the government was not followed or if this mistake was made then the ration card would be cancelled. There are some persons with ration cards who do not purchase ration items for a long time and these ration cards would be cancelled.
Food grains are provided to those families with ration cards under the National Food Security Programme. Under the public Distribution System, the government provides ration to the people at subsidised rates depending on the number of members present in the family.
Truth is that the Tamil Nadu government has been noting those who have not purchased ration items for a long time. Based on the information obtained through ration shops in the respective areas, the ration cards for those who have not purchased ration items for a long time are obtained.
Action would be taken against those who do not purchase ration items for 6 continuous months on the fact that they do not want items at affordable prices. Information gathered is that the ration cards of these persons would be cancelled on the grounds that they are ineligible for purchasing ration items. Based on the below mentioned rule, the cancelled ration cards could be got back once again. It must be noted that by going to a public distribution system website in the state and then reading the instructions for cancelling and retrieving the cards.
