Yesterday, the chief minister of TN, Mr. M.K. Stalin met some medical students who had returned back to their homes from Ukraine. He assured the students that a good decision would be taken soon regarding their education.
In Ukraine, a war is going on now and the situation there is not ideal for the students to continue their studies. In this scenario, the Tamil Nadu students studying in Ukraine have dropped out of their medical schools and have returned back to their homes. Both the central as well as the state governments have been taking many efforts to make the students studying in Ukraine arrive safely in India and in various other states. It must be noted that the CM of TN is busy visiting Tuticorin and Kanniyakumari districts. He met some students in Tirunelveli who are studying in Ukraine.
The students thanked the chief minister regarding the steps taken by both central as well as state governments in bringing them safely from Ukraine to Delhi. These students stayed in the TN government house and were later sent to their native places safely. These medical students from Ukraine spoke about how continuing their medical course in Ukraine might not be possible and how they want the TN government to help them regarding continuing their medical courses.
It is noteworthy that the chief minister gave them assurance regarding continuing their studies and soon a good decision would be taken regarding this. The students are feeling very happy regarding the assurance given by the chief minister.
