Further, buses to other places inclosing Kanyakumari, Salem, Erode, Vellore and the buses proceeding from Thiruvallur to other states of Andhra, Kerala and Karnataka are NOT run subjecting these passengers to great hardship!
Buses are NOT being operated from Nagercoil to Kerala! Only very few buses are being operated up to the Tamil Nadu State border of Kaniyaakkaavinai.
Out of the 760 buses normally operated in the Kanyakumari district, only 250 buses are operated.
Though the employees have been warned that salaries will be cut if they go on strike, the employees have still gone on strike!
