Chennai residents totally unhappy regarding frequent power cuts now!!

Many Chennai residents are not happy now!!
The reason for that is because of frequent power cuts that are taking place in many localities belonging to Chennai. The searing heat has gone now as Agni Natchathiram has come to an end in the last week of May month but the issues faced by the Chennaites are not yet over. Several places in Chennai have power cuts now and this has made many unhappy.
Many complaints have been issued to the concerned authorities about the frequent power cuts but no action has been taken still. It was mentioned by a lawyer from Ayapakkam in Chennai that power cuts have become so frequent now in the night time. He then spoke about how during the day time there have been power cuts for nearly one hour as the power is cut three or four times.
Point is that power cuts for around one hour might seems to be like short duration but since it is the summer season the power cuts are making the lives of the residents very difficult. Inspite of calling the Whatsapp number of TNEB and registering complaint no action has been taken to sort the power cut issue.
As per a resident from Raja Annamalai Puram in Mandaveli in south Chennai, after many calls to the TNEB long power cuts have reduced now and the residents there are feeling much better. He added that until a few weeks ago power cuts would be very long for even a few hours and many in his locality were concerned about this issue.
On 2nd June 20220, many residents belonging to MTH Road in Villivakkam caught the attention because they staged a protest for frequent power cuts in their locality. The residents were forced to protest as the electricity department did not take any action at all.
