GCC to do this superb work before monsoon in Chennai to help the residents

There are several damaged roads in the city of Chennai and these roads have been creating issues for the public. Now, GCC would be re-laying these damaged roads in Chennai before the onset of the monsoon season. According to an official belonging to Greater Chennai Corporation, the corporation has sought proposals for relaying the roads that are more than 5 years old, especially in the extension areas of Chennai.
Truth is that the short listing has been undertaken for funding under Singara Chennai 2.0 initiative. This was according to an officer belonging to the Chennai Corporation.
From the corporation and maintenance funds allotted in a decentralised manner, the civic body has sanctioned money for local repairs etc in all 15 GCC zones in Chennai. The repair and patch works amounting Rs 10 lakhs below would be executed with the approval of the ward level committee from the operations and maintenance funds.
