Suburban trains in Chennai to run faster from August, many people will benefit!!

Many people use suburban trains to reach their destinations. This information would make them relieved and happy.
In the Chengalpet section, there have been many train delays and this has been creating problems for the frequent train commuters. It is now revealed that the Southern Railways or SR would complete work on the newly inaugurated third line.
By the end of this month, signalling as well as track alignment would be completed. The SR would be speeding up the suburban train services from the first week of the month of August. To ease the peak hour congestion on the suburban lines plus to increase the train services, a third line between Tambaram and Chengalpet was commissioned exclusively for express trains and for mail services etc. In the month of May in 2022, the project was commissioned by the PM of India is known.
Point to be noted is that since May the commuters have been waiting for more suburban trains and were hoping that the speeds of the trains would also increase. To allow the express trains to proceed, suburban trains were made to wait for a long time at some stations in the peak hours. This was as per some office goers.
The suburban trains from Chengalpet were mostly held up near Perungalathur and that was because Tambaram railway station is the changeover station. Large number of office going persons (from places like Vandalur, Perungalathur and Urapakkam etc) have been forced to go to Tambaram railway station from where there are many suburban trains available.
It was later mentioned by a senior official belonging to the Chennai Division of SR that after the third line was commissioned very few express trains were operated along with the peak hour time suburban train services on the third line.
To help many office going persons heading to Chennai, the Chennai division of SR has decided to increase the number of train services from August month. This would also help those working in the industrial belts near Chengalpet to reach work on time.
The superb piece of information is that by the end of July month track stabilisation work would increase the speed to 100kmph.This was pointed out by an officer belonging to SR. More trains would be operated on the third line regularly by 15th of August or Independence Day.
According to a frequent suburban train commuter, SR must operate shuttle services of 6 car rakes between Chengalpet and Tambaram.
