Fair price ration shops in Chennai to have a fantastic new look soon!!

Under the Singara Chennai 2.0 project, the ration shops in Chennai are being upgraded. To improve several infrastructural works and services in Chennai Corporation, Singara Chennai 2.0 is being implemented at a mammoth cost of Rs 500 crores.
Other important works under the Singara Chennai 2.0 initiative are being implemented now under categories such as Clean Chennai, Green Chennai, Watery Chennai, Ezhilmighu or Beautiful Chennai, Healthy Chennai and Education Chennai etc.
Under Green Chennai and Ezhilmigu or Beautiful Chennai, trees have been planted in several places belonging to Chennai. Painting of walls, tunnels and flyovers in the public places have been going on.
Now, Chennai Corporation has started the work regarding improving the ration shops in Chennai. Painting has been done outside the Amudham Cooperative Fair Price ration shops in Chennai.
It is worth mentioning that Mr. Radhakrishnan, principal secretary of the Cooperative department inspected the Amudham Fair Price Ration Shop. Zonal officer Mr. Murugan and executive engineer Mr. Saravanan was applauded by the principal secretary for carrying out superb work.
