Chennai University extends the deadline for application to Arts and Science Colleges for graduate courses!

Chennai University has ordered a time extension for applying to graduate courses in Arts & Sciences in th130 Arts & Science Colleges functioning under it!
There are 163 Government Arts & Science Colleges in Tamil Nadu. Around 1 Lakh seats are available to pursue graduate courses. Presently, admissions are conducted on the internet. As such, for the new academic year 2022-23, the online applications were received on the 20th of June!
So far, more than 4 Lakh candidates (boys & girls) have applied! Out of this 2.94 Lakh candidates have paid the fees as well.
IT IS REMARKABLE THAT THE NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS FOR ARTS AND SCIENCE GRADUATE COURSES HAS CROSSED 4 LAKHS FOR THE FIRST-EVER TIME!
Similarly, the online applications for pursuing graduate engineering courses in Anna University and its affiliated colleges commenced online on 29th June! Around 3 lakh candidates have applied.
Meanwhile, the deadline for applying online for both Arts & Science and graduate engineering courses concluded on Wednesday, 27th of July!
In this scenario, Chennai University has ordered an extension of the deadline for online applications to pursue graduate Arts & Science Courses!
In a notification released in this regard by Chennai University, it is mentioned that the time extension for pursuing graduate Arts and Science Courses has been extended until 16th August.
Chennai University has further announced that a time extension has also been given until 16th August to join the B. A, B. Sc., B. Com., BBA, and BCA!
As the interest to pursue Arts & Science Courses has increased among the students Chennai University has extended the deadline for online applications for the above courses until 16th August!
