Disruption in water supply

People residing in Taramani, Thiruvanmiyur and Adayar may not get water supply for two days from August 1 owing to Chennai Metrowater work.
Work is on to connect a newly constructed underground tank inside IIT-M campus and the existing underground tank in Pallipattu with 1,000 mm dia pipeline. This will be taken up between 7 a.m. on August 1 and 7 a.m. on August 3.
Residents are advised to store water in advance and may contact Area Engineer-X111 (044-24416341) for tanker supply.
