Presently, there has been an increase in the number of citizens affected by infection and getting admitted to hospitals for treatment!
An important point to note is that out of these infections in Tamil Nadu, only 55%-60% of the infections could be detected for the type of illness!
This data is obtained from the survey conducted by the Department of General Health in the districts of Krishnagiri and Nilgiri.
India a being a tropical hot zone, the infections which spread in Tamil Nadu are dengue, malaria, Scrub Typhus, and rat fever.
The doctors observed that apart from the above-mentioned illnesses, fever can be caused even by a common complaint such as a cold!
Presently, the spread of pig fever is far more infectious even as compared to corona! As such, corona infection is only in second place! Next on the infection list is dengue fever. Further, out of various fevers, 40% of the fevers cannot be detected or identified.
The right type of tests conducted can only help detection of only 40% of the prevailing infections!
Doctors have observed that the entire data of the citizens admitted to the hospital, symptoms and other details of the infection, etc., in the 2000 government and private hospitals in Tamil Nadu must be registered in full detail in the government IHP (Individual Healthcare Plan) website.
Presently, the quantum of white corpuscles and platelets in the blood of the patients are tested to detect the type of infection and then treatment is given accordingly!
