Minister inaugurates the sales of new LPG cooking gas cylinders of 2 kg and 5 kg in Cooperative Stores!!

The new 2 kg and 5 kg LPG cooking gas cylinders from Indian Oil Corporation are to be sold in the Cooperative special markets and petrol bunks.
The Tamil Nadu State Government Minister for Cooperatives, I. Periysamy, inaugurated the sales of the 2 kg & 5 kg LPG cooking gas cylinders at Chennai Metro City Triplicane Cooperative Stores yesterday (Thursday, 6th October).
These small-capacity cylinders would be extremely handy for the labourers who keep shifting, pavement traders, small traders, fishermen, and citizens on tours!
NOTE THAT NO PROOF OF ADDRESS OR ANYTHING ELSE IS REQUIRED TO BUY THESE SMALL-CAPACITY CYLINDERS.
Any one of the approved identity cards needs to be shown while buying these cylinders.
For the new 2 kg LPG cooking gas cylinder, the price is Rs. 961.50. For filling up the cylinder, the charges are Rs. 263.50. For a 5 kg cylinder, for a new connection, it is Rs. 1528. For filling up, it is Rs. 564.0 as fixed by the Indian Oil Corporation.
