Fire Fighting Department Officials: permission for 500 crackers shops in Chennai District for Deepavali!

Among the most important Indian festivals, Deepavali is set to be celebrated on 24th October!
As such, thousands of citizens are thronging the shops for the purchase of new clothes, crackers, and sweets!
Generally, the rule is that the citizens interested in setting up crackers shop for Deepavali MUST obtain prior permission from the Firefighting department.
As such, for the citizens who want to set up a crackers shop in Chennai District, permission is given ONLY IF THEY AGREE TO ADHERE TO THE 30 RULES REGARDING SAME!
Accordingly, for this year`s Deepavali, 800 applications have been received by the Firefighting Department!
The Firefighting officials make a direct visit to the crackers shops being set up to verify and ensure safety equipment and safety features are installed and available!
Until yesterday (Friday, 14th October), permissions have been given on behalf of the Department Of Fire-fighting to set up 500 crackers shops.
In this regard, the Fier-fighting Department officials have categorically announced that PERMISSION WILL NOT BE GIVEN TO SET UP CRACKERS SHOPS IN AREAS OF MULTI-STOREYED APARTMENTS, MARRIAGE HALLS, PETROL AND GAS STATIONS, SCHOOLS AND HOSPITALS
