Marina Beach in Chennai is making amazing news now regarding the upcoming 3.5km rope car project!!

The popular Marina Beach in Chennai would be adding one more feather to its cap!!
After obtaining CRZ or Coastal Regulatory Zone clearance , a rope car project would be introduced at the Marina Beach. This was mentioned by R. Priya, Chennai Mayor. The Mayor was busy responding to a question from councillor of ward number 104 Mr. T.V. Semmozhi at the Corporation Council meeting on Friday, 28th October 2022.
The Chennai Mayor spoke about how the rope car project at Marina Beach would be highly beneficial for the tourists as well as for the residents of the city. She added that the rope care project would be replicated in other parts of Chennai also.
Mr. Semmozhi was of the view that the many councillors wanted to initiate different projects that would be useful for the residents. He appreciated the huge efforts taken by former CM of Tamil Mr. M. Karunanidhi and by the present CM of Tamil Nadu Mr. M.K. Stalin regarding metro rail network and bridges respectively.
It is now said that the launch of this rope care project at Chepauk - Triplicane Assembly constituency with support from Mr. Udayanidhi Stalin MLA would help in the expansion of the network to other parts of Chennai city also. Point is that the rope car project would become another mode of transit for the public. In this Assembly Constituency, the makeover of public toilets was also launched. Mr. Udayanidhi Stalin even had discussions with NGOs after inspecting 47 public toilets in this constituency that have been in very bad condition.
