CM Jayalalithaa to flag off first Metro train soon

Tamilnadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa may soon flag off the test drive of Chennai`s first Metro train,which is currently stationed at the Koyambedu depot.
Officials of Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) have already approached the Chief Secretary of the State seeking a date from the Chief Minister and the test drive may be done by the end of the month.
After test drive train will be transported to the elevated track. For more than a month now, the four-car train has undergone various routine tests to gauge its quality.
