New entertainment plus shopping options to come up in south Chennai!!

Entertainment and shopping have become part and parcel in the lives of many now!!
The residents of south Chennai and transit passengers would feel delighted now. Soon, these people would have more entertainment and shopping options as PVR multiplex and a mall would be opened for them at the new multi level car parking or MLCP at the Chennai airport. The parking space has been opened and the work to complete the theatre and mall has been going on.
At PVR, interior work and other works have been completed and this was according to Mr. Chandrakant Kankaria, director of Olympia Group. He hinted that the permission has been awaited now and once the permission is given then PVR would be opened. Along with the cinemas theatre, 30000 sq ft food court would also be opened.
After getting the local clearance, screens would go up. This was pointed out by 2 other sources belonging to the film industry. In cities like Chennai, Coimbatore and Vellore etc in TN, PVR complex has been making its presence felt in a huge manner. It is learnt that in the state of TN PVR complex has got 83 screens in 13 properties and the total seating capacity ois 20,279.
Information collected is that apart from the PVR cinemas here there would also be anchor clients like Reliance Retail, Pantaloons and Starbucks here. These would be opened towards the end of the first quarter of 2023. Point is that the whole process was done here taking into the consideration of the passengers and those living near the airport. It is now revealed that the MLCP with new entertainment as well as shopping facilities would be beneficial for the residents belonging to places like Pallavaram, Chromepet etc. It must be noted that this would be a revenue sharing agreement with AAI for a period of 13.5 years.
