The CMDA or Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority has organised public consultation meetings at 5 locations on Saturday and Sunday. It is known that the preparation of a vision document for Chennai`s third master plan is underway now.
On Saturday:
On the Kamaraj Salai in Manali is present Thirugnana Sambantham Rama Lakshmi Mahal and on the West Avenue in MKB Nagar is present Guru Chandra Malaigai. In these 2 important buildings, the consultation meeting would take place on Saturday at 10am and at 2pm respectively.
On Sunday:
It is noteworthy that on Sunday at the TSS Nadargal Thirumana Maligai on the TH Road in Thiruvottiyur and at Hotel Sri Valli Park on GNT Road in Madhavaram and at Phiroj Clubwala Memorial Hall at West Mada Street in Royapuram public consultation meeting would be held at 10am.
For the third master plan (2027- 2046), CMDA is preparing the vision document for CMA or Chennai Metropolitan Area. The good news is CMDA now wants the Chennaites to get involved in this so that the third master plan becomes a reality. The Chennai residents could give their suggestions and their opinions.
In the first step, a vision document would be prepared and for that consultants would have been appointed Later on, based on the vision document a master plan would be prepared. The first consultation meeting on the vision document was organised by the planning authority. The meeting witnessed subject experts and public representatives etc. It was earlier announced that many meetings would be organised in various parts of CMA.
