As the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic commenced, a lot of restrictions were imposed on temple-visiting devotees! The devotees, despite all restrictions and lockdowns, continued visiting Tirupathi and had Darshan of Lord Venkateswara!
As the impact of coronavirus abated mostly during the last 1 year, permission was given for the devotees for Darshan through various formats such as Free Darshan, Rs. 300/- ONLINE Darshan, Sri Vari Endowment and Suprapadha Sevai enabling 60000 to 80000 devotees to have Darshan of th3e Lord Venkateswara.
During the current period, an unprecedented income of Rs. 120 Crores to Rs. 130 Crores have been earned.
In this scenario, because of the recent development of the highly raging and fast-spreading coronavirus in several countries in a new version, the central ministry of health has cautioned the states and the citizens to protect themselves from this!
As a follow-up, the devotees visiting Tirupathi for Darshan of Lord Venkateswara MUST wear facial masks! They should germ-cleansers further, they must keep the necessary proof of having been vaccinated!
Otherwise, the visiting devotees must have the result of the test done 48 hours before undertaking the journey! In this regard, IT HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED BY THE THIRUMALAI TIRUPATHI DEVASTHANAM THAT DEVOTEES WILL BE ALLOWED ONLY IF THE ABOVE PROOFS ARE SHOWN!
62055 devotees had Darshan yesterday (Frida, 23rd December) at Tirupathi. 23044 devotees have tonsured their heads! The Hundi collection was Rs. 3.99 Crores!
