New Facility: Address Change can be done for the Aadhar Card ONLINE!!
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has introduced a new facility whereby the citizen can change the address on the Aadhar Card with permission from the house owner in case it is a rented residence and also with permission from the Family Leader as given in the Aadhar Card!
The applicant needs to mention the relationship with the family leader, the names of the applicant and the family leader, and, as proof, any of the family ration cards, mark certificates, marriage proof certificates, and Identity cards and change the address in the Aadhar Card!
In case the proof of relationship with the family card holder is not available, in a specific application form given by UIA}DAI) giving the approval of the family leader in a self-attested copy can be used for changing the address on the Aadhar Card.
While changing the address given in the Aadhar Card ONINE, visit the website: https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/. A fee of Rs. 50/- has to be paid for this facility!
First, register for the verification of the Family Ration Card Leader. After this, the proof of relationship must be uploaded. Then, an SMS will be sent to the family ration card leader. From the date of receiving this SMS (Short Message Service), the family ration card leader MUST give his/her approval within 30 days!
In case the family ration card leader rejects this application for a change of address in the Aadhar card or declares no interest in sharing his address, the concerned APPLICATION WILL GET REJECTED!
In case of the abov3 development, an SMS (Short Message Service) will be sent to the applicant informing them of this rejection status! In case of such development, the fee paid for the change of address in the Aadhar Card WILL NOT BE REFUNDED!
