The 45th Book Fair in Chennai Metro City commences today!

The 45th Book Fair is set to commence today (Friday, 6th January) at the YMCA Grounds in Chennai Metro City!
The Book Fair is traditional is a traditional Annual event generally conducted after the start if the New Year by BAPASI (The Book Sellers and Publishers Association of South Indi at the Chennai Metro City Nandanam YMCA Grounds. As such, the 45th Book Fair at YMCA Grounds commences today (Friday, 6th January) and will conclude on 22nd January for a period of 16 days.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin will inaugurate the Book Fair today evening at 5.30 PM. He will also concur various awards from the `Karunanidhi Porkizhi` (Karunanidhi Golden Bowl).
In this huge Book Fair, more than 1000 book stalls are set up!
Further, THE BOOKS F TRANSGENDER ARE ALSO BEING DISPLAYED AND SOLD IN THIS BOOK FAIR FOR THE FIRST=-EVE TIME!
International Book Fair
Apart from the above Book Fair, an INTERNATIONAL BOOK FAIR IS ALSO SCHEDULED TO BE CONDUCTED FOR THE FIRST-EVER TIME IN CHENNAI METRO CITY FOR 3 DAYS FROM 16TH JANUARY TO 18TH JANUARY.
This International Book Fair is also scheduled to be conducted in the Chennai Metro City Nandanam YMCA Grounds.
This International Book Fair is conducted jointly by the Tamil Nadu Text Books and Educational Services Corporation and South India Book Publishers and Sellers Association (BAPASI).

The Department of School Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has allocated Rs. 6.60 Crores for this International Book Fair!
