Currently, the preparation of the vision document for the third master plan for the Chennai city has been going on. In this scenario, the CMDA or Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority has organised a public consultation meeting on Saturday and Sunday at 8 locations in the city.
Various locations where the public consultation meeting (from 10am to 12:30 pm) would take place are Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Community Hall, SRP Koil Street in Peravallur in Thiru Vi Ka Nagar, Karapakkam based Chennai Corporation Community Hall, Sree Guha Thirumana Mandapam in Gandhi Road, Alwar Thirunagar, Chennai Corporation Community Hall in IIT Colony, Pallikaranai, High Tech Mahal in Royapettah High road in Royapettah.
Tomorrow, on Sunday, CMDA will be organising a public consultation meeting at Kamarajar A/c Hall, Trustpuram, Kodambakkam , DK Mahal, third avenue, Anna Nagar and KSP Mahal, Padi from 10am to 12:30pm. It must be recalled that on 17th and on 18th December 2022, CMDA organised a public consultation meeting in several places like Madhavaram, Manali, Thiruvottiyur, Tondiarpet etc.
It is known that for the CMA or Chennai Metropolitan Area CMDA is busy preparing the vision document for Third Master Plan from 2027 to 2046.The CMDA wants to get suggestions and views from the public also to make this vision a reality.
