No special classes during Pongal Holidays!!

Tamil Nadu State Government officials have ordered that NO SPECIAL CLASSES WILL BE CONDUCTED DURING THE PONGAL HOLIDAYS!
On the special occasion of the important Pongal Festival, a 4-day’ holiday has been declared for the schools and colleges!
In this scenario, information is gathered that certain academic institutions have declared only 1-day’s holiday tomorrow (Sunday, 15th January, Pongal festival) and proposed to conduct special classes on 2 days!!
In this regard, the higher officials of the Department of School Education and Higher Education have emphasized to the above academic institutions NOT TO CONDUCT ANY SPECIAL CLASSES.
The officials have emphasized:
“no academic institution can conduct any special classes during the Pongal holidays! They must give the due holidays to the students, teachers and the institution staff the Pongal holidays in full!!”
