New Facility: Flight passengers can check in at the Chennai Metro Stations!

A most welcome decision has been made to facilitate flight checking at all the Chennai Metro Railway Stations!
In a measure to enhance the travel experience of the air passengers, a `Kick-Off` meeting was conducted at Meenambakkam to facilitate flight check-in at the Chennai Metro Railway Stations!
The meeting was presided over by the Director of the Chennai Airport Sarathkumar. Senior officials of Chennai Metro Rail and senior officials of the Chennai Airport participated in this meeting!
It has been decided to conduct a trial of this facility of `check-in for flights at the Metro Rail; Stations.
At the specific Chennai Metro Station, the flight passengers can hand over their luggage at the special counter. With this facility, it has been planned to ensure subsequent lesser crowds of flight passengers for check-in! After the check-in, the flight boarding pass will be handed over to the passengers. As such, the passenger can proceed to the airport straightaway!
This new facility will be introduced on a trial basis from March 2-23. It was further decided that this check-in facility for flights will be introduced subsequently in all the Metro Stations.
