Deadline extended now regarding Aadhaar number and electricity connections linking!!

Previously, it was mentioned that 31st January 2023 would be the last day to link Aadhaar numbers with electricity connections across Tamil Nadu.
The latest important news is that this deadline has been extended now till 15th February 2023. This was revealed by the TN electricity minister Mr. Senthil Balaji.
On Tuesday, today the electricity minister met the media persons and spoke about how about 90.69% of consumers have linked their Aadhaar number with electricity connections now in TN. He added that the remaining 9.31% of consumers haven`t yet linked these. Out of 2crore 32 lakhs consumers in TN just 2 cr 17 lakhs consumers have linked their Aadhaar number with electricity connections.
Regarding the handlooms sector , still there are 4000 people who haven`t linked Aadhar and electricity connections. and in the powerloom sector there are still 9000 people who haven`t yet linked Aadhaar and electricity connections. In this scenario, the last date for linking aadhaar number and electricity connections have been extended till 15th February 2023.
