ONLINE SERVICES OF TANGEDCO AFFECTED: RESTORATION WORK IN FULL SWING!

TANGEDCO has announced that the ONLINE SERVICES offered have been affected.
Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Company (TANGEDCO) has been offering ONLINE services for various tasks – Submission of applications for new electricity connections, payment of electricity bills, etc.
As per this, citizens may visit the website: www.tangedco.gov.in and access the above services.
In this situation, TANGEDCOP has informed us that its ONLINE services have been affected.
In a notification made in the social networking medium TWITTER, it has mentioned:
"Dear Consumers! Due to a problem faced with the service cables, the ONLINE services offered by TANGEDCO ARE BLOCKED PRESENTLY! IT WILL BE RESTORED SOON! WE ARE SORRY FOR THIS INCONVENIENCE!"
It may be noted that this disruption of ONINE services has occurred at present especially when today (Wednesday, 15th February) is the last day for consumers to link their Electricity Connection Numbers with their Aadhar Cards!
