The President of India, Droupadi Murmu will be coming for a 2 day trip to TN to take part in a function to be held at Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore for Maha Shivarathri.
It is well known that today 18th February 2023 is Maha Shivarathri and this festival is celebrated in all the temples. Every year, the festival is celebrated at the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore also. This year the Maha Shivarathri festival at Coimbatore would have a superb guest Draupdai Murmu. After being sworn as the president of India, this will be the first time that she is coming to TN on a 2 day trip.
Today, 18th February, the president will arrive at Madurai airport at 11:45am from Delhi through a private flight. Later on, the president will go to the famous Meenakshi Amman temple in Madurai and will have darshan till 12;45 pm. Heavy security arrangements have been made at the temple today. At 3:10 pm today evening, she will arrive in Coimbatore. She will then go to the government guest house in Racecourse Road in Coimbatore in a bullet proof car.
In the evening around 5:45 pm, the president will be taking part in the Maha Shivarathri celebrations at the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore.
