One of the healthiest fruits in the world are dates and these are tropical fruits grown on date palm trees. It is known that dates belong to the dry fruits category.

Also known as Khajur in Hindi, dates are superb natural sweeteners. Phoenix dactylifera is the scientific name for the date fruit. Various ingredients present in dates are salts and minerals like calcium, iron, magnesium, sodium and potassium, proteins, vitamins like B6 C, D and dietary fibres etc.
