Guess where the new open air art gallery would take place in Chennai?
It will be at the famous Nageswara Rao Park in Mylapore from 7am to 7pm on this coming Sunday. It is known that people use this park for walking. It has been a few years since the art festival has taken place and this Sunday as many as 83 artistes from TN will be showcasing their works.
Usually, art galleries would be held in closed surroundings and that would be far from the public view. Everyone would now get a chance to enjoy the art at this open park in Mylapore. This was as per the organiser Mr. Ganapathy Subramaniam.
It is now believed that this art gallery would provide the super talented artists a space to showcase their skills and sell their work. Six foot space, a long table, chair and simple wire settings would be provided to each artist at the art gallery. The superb piece of information is that artists would not only come from Chennai but from other districts like Nagercoil, Coimbatore, Madurai etc also.
The art gallery would have water colours, acrylics, digital art and small sculptures etc and it would be amazing for the visitors. The organiser revealed that the GCC has given them permission to conduct the open air art gallery at Nageswara Rao Park. It must be noted that the artworks would be arranged on the multiple pathways in the park and by this the people who come to the park for doing exercises etc would not get disturbed.
