It was earlier mentioned that the Vande Bharat train would halt at Thiruvallur. It is now confirmed by the Southern Railway or SR that the information regarding Chennai Central - Mysuru Vande Bharat train or VB train stopping at Thiruvallur near Chennai was not correct.
It is known to us that the state of the art express luxury trains under the name Vande Bharat are being operated to connect major railway stations in India. On 11th November in 2022, the 5th Vande Bharat train was launched between Chennai Central and Mysuru. The VB train would depart Chennai Central at 5:50am and would reach Mysuru at 12:20pm. In the opposite direction, the VB train would depart Mysuru at 1:05pm and would reach Chennai central at 7;30pm. The VB train service has become highly popular among the passengers now.
In this scenario, news was published in the newspapers that Chennai division officers have recommended to the RB regarding the VB trains halting at Thiruvallur as per the request from the passengers.
Now, Mr. Kuganesan, chief public relations officer from SR has mentioned in the press release that the news reported in some media that the Chennai Central- Mysuru VB trains would halt at Thiruvallur was completely wrong.
