Bad oral health will be shown by these serious signs, take care!!

While we bother so much about our blood pressure, diabetes etc, we do not bother that much about our oral health issues!!

Neglecting oral health has become very common. Point is that we all must take proper care of our oral health too by visiting the dentist, maintaining good oral hygiene etc. By these, we could avoid certain oral based problems affecting us. Taking care of the gums is very necessary because unhealthy gums could result in many oral health issues like gum disease, loss of teeth etc.

It is important that we must take these bad oral health signs seriously.

Reddish coloured and swollen gums:

Inflammation in the gums would make the gums appear reddish in colour plus swollen etc. It is learnt that gum inflammation can be due to plaque buildup and due to bacteria present in the teeth leading to gingivitis. We would be able to avoid gingivitis or early gum disease by maintaining good oral practices like regularly brushing teeth using ayurvedic toothpaste etc.

Bleeding gums:

It is also known as periodontitis and is a usual sign of gum disease in us. After brushing or flossing teeth, if blood comes then it is necessary to go to a dentist compulsorily. Preventing the progression of gum disease is very important. By using organic toothpaste made from herbs,plants and essential oils etc, we could clean the teeth and promote healthy gums. The issue of gum bleeding would not be there by using organic toothpaste containing clove, tumburu, neem, triphala etc.

Receding gums:

Sometimes, the gum tissue that surrounds the teeth would be pulled away and this is receding gums issue. This would expose more teeth and roots. There are certain reasons like aggressive brushing of teeth, genetics and gum disease etc that can lead to receding gums issue. The gums would recede over time when we do aggressive brushing of teeth also called as teeth abrasion. The gum tissue would get worn out  due to hard bristles of the brush and by vigorous back and forth movement. By brushing hard, tooth enamel would get worn out and this could lead to tooth sensitivity issues.

Persistent bad breath:

Poor oral hygiene, underlying medical conditions, certain foods and drinks etc can cause persistent bad breath in us. We would be able to mask bad breath by means of a mouthwash but that would be just temporary only. Bad breath in us could be due to a number of factors like gum disease, tooth decay, other oral issues etc. The bacteria would get built up in the months leading to bad breathe.It is believed that the presence of neem and vidanga in the toothpaste with good antimicrobial propertities would reduce bad breath effectively.
