The corridors of the Lord Swamy Ayyappan Temple at Sabarimalai are scheduled to be opened this evening (Tuesday, 14th March) for the poojas to be performed during the Tamil Calendar month of Panguni.
It is traditional for the temple corridors to be opened at the start of every Tamil Calendar Month, so tonight, the temple corridors will be opened to mark the beginning of the Tamil Calendar Month of Panguni.
The divine deepam will be lit early the next morning (Wednesday, 15th March) in the sanctum sanctorum, and many poojas, including the Ganapathy Homam, will be performed.
It has been announced that the temple corridors of Lord Swami Ayyappan Temple at Sabarimalai will remain open until 19th March, after which they will be closed and opened again on 26th March.
Devotees are informed that they can come for the darshan of Lord Sri Ayyappan as usual.
