Aadhar Card has become an integral item in the day-to-day lives of Indian citizens for various services. It is rightly called the Unique Identification Card, and its status has arrived at a point where no task can be accomplished without it. Aadhar Card has also become an important and prominent identity in financial transactions.
As far as banks are concerned, Aadhar is considered the most important identity. Therefore, citizens are required to keep all their personal details updated on their Aadhar cards. A fee of Rs. 50/- is charged for carrying out changes in the name, date of birth, and address. If corrections are made either at E-Service Centres or ONLINE, the fee of Rs. 50/- is mandatory.
Presently, the central government has announced that there would be no charges for three months when the above-mentioned corrections are carried out ONLINE. However, carrying out Aadhar Card corrections at E-Service Centres will require a payment of Rs. 50/-.
