The National Curriculum Framework (NCF) has released a notification mentioning that the examinations for the children students MUST be conducted ONLY FROM THE THIRD STANDARD! Conducting examinations for school children studying up to the 2ns Standard is rather unnecessary!"

The National Curriculum Framework has so far carried out revisions 4 times. The fifth revision is in progress now.

As per the National Education Policy (NEP) introduced in 2020, a committee presided by the former Chief of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) Kasthurirangan is engaged in the task of revising the school syllabus accordingly.

Here is the draft presented by the committee regarding the system of conducting examinations for school students:

"The Examination and the Marks system MUST enhance the multi-skill level of the students! Students learn in a uniquely different manner and they exhibit this also in a unique manner!

There may be other systems/methods to check their studying and understanding capacity. However, the teachers must have the skill of testing and assessing the students` understanding by designing different methods to do the same!

Note that this assessment method should not turn out to be a burden for the students! The students must receive it as an extended part of the learning process.

The Examination System MUST be started for the students only from the 3rd-5th Standards. It is unnecessary to conduct examinations!"

This Draft regarding the School Education System was released by the National Curriculum Framework day-before-yesterday (Thursday, 6th December).

Subsequently, the teachers, the parents and the students are to give their opinions, suggestions and recommendations!"
