Chief Minister Stalin seeks public opinion on the 3rd Integrated Plan for the Chennai Metro City!

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, M K Stalin, has informed that the Public must share their opinions, suggestions and recommendations regarding the 3rd Integrated Plan for the Chennai Metro City.
The Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA) has been engaged in the integrated plan for the Chennai Metro City (2026-2046). So far, 2 integrated plans have been prepared for the Chennai Metro City.
The first plan was prepared in 1976, and the 2nd plan is valid for 2006-2026.
In this 2nd plan, the projects such as Kilambakkam Bus Terminus, Koyambedu Market and Bus Terminus, and the satellite city plans were drawn in the 2nd plan.
In this situation, the third integrated plan (2026-2046) covering 1189 square meters is to be prepared by the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA).This plan will be in execution in the year 2026.
The consultant has been decided for the plan preparation for the 3rd plan. Consultation review meetings have been conducted for this with the participation of the MLAs and Councilors of the 29 wards in Chennai Metro City, local representatives. Meetings are conducted with the public as well and the opinions, suggestions and recommendations are obtained.
As such, the Chennai Metro Development Authority (CMDA) has undertaken the task of collecting the opinions, suggestions and recommendations of the public at public gathering places such as Marina Beach, Besant Nagar (Eliot) beach, all train, bus and Metro stations, Movie Theatres, Commercial Complexes, government offices, and educational institutions directly and indirectly though through the social networking media!
In this situation, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin has expressed that the opinions, suggestions and recommendations MSUT be sought from the public as well! In this regard, on his Twitter Page, he has mentioned: "The Chennai Metro development Authority (CMDA) invites the public to participate to give their opinions, suggestions and recommendations as a part of the 3rd Chennai Metro City Integrated plan (2026-2046) in the important social media networks! So, the public may record their opinions, suggestions and recommendations on the social networking media!"
