Grama Sabha Meetings in all local administrations on 1st May!

The Commissioner of Rural Development, Tharoz Ahmed, has emphasized that Grama Sabha meetings MUST be organized in all villages on the 1st of May, Laborers` Day.
In a letter sent to all district collectors regarding this, he mentioned:
"On the 1st of May, Laborers` Day, Grama Sabha meetings must be organized on a rotational basis in all the wards under the jurisdiction of the local village administration, by 10:00 AM. During the meeting, attendance of the members must be confirmed as per the minimum limit.
People must be made aware of this. Note that Grama Sabha meetings cannot be conducted in any religious complexes. The venue of the meeting must be communicated in advance to the public.
A new cell phone app has been developed to facilitate registration for the meeting. Using this app, the proceedings of all the Grama Sabha meetings must be recorded.
Therefore, please complete all preparatory activities for conducting the Grama Sabha meetings in every village and send me a detailed report on the same."
