Fantastic response from Chennai residents regarding Ice Cream sales in battery vehicles, now whats next??

If it is summer, then ice creams will be the most favourite food item for many!!
Just 2 weeks back, in Chennai, sales of Aavin icecreams in battery vehicles were introduced for the residents. The response from the residents for this has been superb.
It is now brought out that the Aavin management would introduce the ice cream sales in battery vehicles in other cities across TN such as Salem, Trichy and Madurai etc. On 20th of April 2023, on the behalf of Aavin company, sales of several varieties of icecreams on battery vehicles was launched in Chennai. The ice cream sales were started using 33 battery operated vehicles in Chennai and its neighbouring places where many people gather such as beaches, places for worship and in tourist areas etc.
Using the battery operated vehicles around 100 varieties of icecreams like kulfi, cup icecreams, chocobar, choco pies, cassada, candy, premium etc were sold to the residents. Truth is that the residents have enjoyed tasting these varieties of icecreams.The response has been superb.
Now, the Aavin management has decided to sell these varieties of icecreams in cities like Salem, Trichy and Madurai etc also. This was according to Mr. N. Subbayan, MD of Aavin. He spoke about how the Aavin ice cream products sold using battery vehicles in Chennai had good response and how Aavin would be expoanding the sales.
In the first phase, steps are being taken now to sell 10 battery operated vehicles in cities like Salem, Trichy and Madurai etc. It must be noted that a battery vehicle with a refrigerator would cost Rs 126658. In these battery operated vehicles, Rs 5000 worth icecreams could be sold and daily Rs 1500 could be got as a profit. With just one time charging of the battery, the vehicle could go upto a distance of 30kms.
