Application for graduate medical courses from next week! - State Health Minister!

The Tamil Nadu State Government Minister for Health, Ma. Subramanian, has informed that activities have been initiated to receive applications and registrations for graduate medical courses.
Tamil Nadu State Minister for Health, Ma. Subramanian, inaugurated the functioning of the Centre for Psychological Mental Health. The center aims to provide suggestions to candidates affected by extreme mental tension during the phase of preparing and writing the NEET (National Entrance-cum-Eligibility Test), which is mandatory for admission to graduate medical courses such as MBBS and BDS.
After the inauguration of the Psychological Counselling Centre, the State Health Minister shared with the press:
"Psychological counselling is being continuously provided through these 105 Counselling Centres in the state of Tamil Nadu. Since the establishment of the Psychological Counselling Centres last May, 54,374 candidates have been contacted and given psychological counselling. Out of these 54,372 candidates, 177 boys and girls were found to be affected by extreme mental tension. Suitable counselling has been provided to these candidates.
NEET results were recently released, and 78,693 candidates from the state of Tamil Nadu have passed the NEET!
The details of the candidates who failed will be collected, and suitable psychological counselling will be given to them. Additionally, the parents of these failed candidates will also be provided with psychological counselling.
Delight after the release of NEET results:
Four candidates from the state of Tamil Nadu have secured places in the top 10! This is indeed delightful news and further establishes the fact that proper training for preparing and writing the NEET is being provided in the state. The general procedure of counselling by the central government will be stopped this year as well, and counselling will be conducted as it was done last year.
We had requested permission to conduct counselling for the 15% All India Quota and the 85% State Quota simultaneously to prevent delays. The Central Government has accepted this proposal, and once they issue the guidelines to be followed, there will be no delays, and admissions will be completed promptly. We have also emphasized that registration for admission to graduate medical courses must commence next week.
In the current year, an additional 450 seats in private medical colleges` graduate courses and 50 seats in Pudhukkottai Government Dental Medical College have been obtained.
The State Health Minister further informed that new medical colleges must be opened in six districts, including Thenkasi, Mayiladuthurai, Thirupathur, and Ranippettai.
During this event, the Assistant Secretary of the Public Welfare Department, Gagan Singh Bedi, the Director of the National Public Welfare Commission, Shilpa Prabhakar Satish, the Director of the Tamil Nadu Health Planning Commission, Govinda Rao, and the Secretary of the Medical Education Selection Committee, Muthuchelvan, participated.
