Semmenchery records 8mm rains - Good news for Chennaites regarding the continuation of the dip in the temperatures!!

The rains that lashed Chennai yesterday have brought down the temperatures and the residents are feeling happy now. The superb piece of information is that for the next 24 hours, Chennai might get moderate rains with thunder and lightning and the temperature would remain below 30 degrees Celsius.
According to IMD prediction, Chennai would be cloudy and there is likely to be moderate rains with thunder and lightning. It is noteworthy that the maximum temperature would be around 28 degrees Celius and the minimum temperature would be around 25 degrees Celius.
It rained in Chennai for most part of the forenoon on Sunday. The 4.5mm rains in Chennai have brought down the temperatures. In the last week, temperatures recorded in Nungambakkam and Meenambakkam were more than 40 degrees Celius but yesterday these 2 important places recorded temperatures around 30 degrees Celsius.
