Commissioner Jiwal emphasized the installation of monitoring equipment at 20 additional locations to detect speeding vehicles, highlighting the importance of adhering to the speed limit to reduce accidents.
Enforcement of the 40 km per hour speed limit will be implemented at 10 key locations in Chennai. The commissioner urged motorists to drive responsibly and comply with the prescribed speed limit.
