Tambaram in south Chennai has been severely affected by heavy rains now!!

On Monday morning, there was water stagnation on many roads in Tambaram in the southern part of Chennai and due to this the traffic was affected here.
Traffic chaos was witnessed along the Tambaram flyover due to the presence of 2 feet of water on the service road. The road that was newly constructed in Saradha Garden (belonging to the 65th ward of Tambaram Corporation)was damaged. There were few holes on the road due to the sudden rains and this led to many vehicles getting struck up. There was a heavy water stagnation on the Vandalur- Walajabad Road near the junction. Normalcy returned to Tambaram after several hours.
