Women these days face many issues during their travel especially in the nights. Now, the Tamil Nadu police dept has come out with a superb solution for this. This has caught the attention of many.
This transport facility would be available for women travelling alone during the nights from 10pm to 6am.
Women who want to make use of this transportation facility from the TN police dept can call the numbers 1091, 112, 044-23452365, 044-28447701 etc. When the women who travel during the late nights inform the personnel regarding the location (like from where they are and the situation they are facing etc) the officers would alert the nearest patrol vehicle.
The patrol vehicle and personnel would then reach the exact location and pick up the women who sought assistance and drop her at her destination. This service is totally free and women could make use of this facility on all days. This as mentioned in anote from the TN police headquarters.
