Kalaignar Centenary Mega Special Medical Camps to be Held in Chennai

In honor of Kalaignar`s Centenary celebrations, the Department of Medicine and Public Welfare has organized Kalaignar Centenary Mega Special Medical Camps across Tamil Nadu. This Saturday, June 24, the camps will be held at 100 locations, including ten places within the Chennai Corporation.
From 8 am to 5 pm, residents of Chennai can avail themselves of medical services at various schools and institutions. The designated locations for the medical camps in Chennai include Northwick Government Secondary School, Athipat Venkateswara Matriculation School, Chennai Middle School at Villivakkam Sivan Temple Street, Pulyur Chennai Middle School, Maduravayal Government Secondary School, Niti School at Alandur Ponniamman Temple Street, and Corporation Middle School at Perungudi Balaji Nagar.
During the camp, new beneficiaries can also enroll in the Chief Minister`s Comprehensive Medical Insurance Scheme and the Prime Minister`s People`s Health Scheme. This initiative aims to provide healthcare access to a larger population. Both government and private hospitals will actively participate, ensuring a wide range of medical services for the public.
