Prospects for the commencement of the counselling for admission to graduate engineering courses in 10 days!

The Department of Higher Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has planned to organize counselling for admission to graduate engineering courses. E., B. Tech. etc., in 10 days.
Online counselling is scheduled to be conducted for admission to the B. E. & B. Tec. Courses in various faculties are offered by the 450+ engineering colleges. 1.88 Lakh candidates have applied for this year`s counselling.
The rank or merit list for the above candidates was released last month.
It was planned earlier to commence the counselling for admission from the 17th of July for a few days. However, as the counselling for admission to the graduate medical courses is getting delayed, this counselling for admission to the graduate engineering courses is also delayed!
In this situation, as there are prospects for counselling for the admission to the graduate medical courses to be conducted from the 17th of July for a few days, the Department of Higher Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has planned to conduct the counselling for admission to the graduate engineering courses immediately after the medical course counselling. As per this, it is expected that the counselling for admission to the graduate engineering courses may commence on the 24th of July!
