Drivers are confused!! - Non-operative traffic signals in East Tambaram creating issues for school going kids!!

The presence of faulty lights on the Velachery High Road has become a thorn in the flesh for many residents now belonging to east Tambaram in south Chennai. The non operational traffic lights have led to traffic congestion plus thay have also been creating safety issues for the school kids here.
In the peak hours, the safety of the school students is an issue now here as there are many schools present. There is now a confusion among the drivers and pedestrians due to the present bad condition of traffic lights here. This has often led to disruptions in the smooth flow of traffic.
The availability of the traffic police personnel is an issue here and the school students find it tough to navigate the road without any proper guidance. There Are more chances of accidents due to this.
Non functional traffic signals pose huge issues especially in the nights and this was mentioned by a resident from east Tambaram.
