Shutting down of 2 petting zones Jungili and Faunus Park in Chennai now!!

The complaints from the Residents Welfare Associations in ECR in Chennai regarding the functioning petting zones in Injambakkam & Panaiyur have been fruitful now.
On Friday, the forest dept closed down these petting zones in ECR.
It was mentioned by a source that Jungili at Injambakkam claimed that they were just a pet shop and they do not pet the animals. The forest dept officers have closed the public access to the animals space only. This was according to Mr. E. Prashant, wildlife warden in Chennai. He spoke about how Jungili claimed that 400 tickets were refundable.
There are many birds and reptiles present at Faunus Park in Paaniyur in ECR. As it didn`t have the important FSSAI license, it was shut down.
