Post Office Financial Assistance Scheme: School Students may apply!

Applications are invited from school students for the Monthly Financial Assistance Scheme offered by the India Post Office.
To encourage school students to apply for and benefit from this scheme, the India Post Office introduced the financial assistance program for school students named the `Deenadayal Sparsh Yojana` in 2017. As per this scheme, financial assistance is provided to students who excel in Post Office Savings Schemes.
Under this scheme, applications are invited from school students to avail of this financial assistance, which is available through the Tamil Nadu Postal Circle.
School students studying from the 6th standard to the 9th standard are eligible to apply for this scheme. Selected students will receive a yearly financial assistance of Rs. 6000!
The selection of school students will occur in two phases – the Post Office Quiz and the Post Office Scheme. The Zonal Post Office quiz program will take place on October 5th. School students who succeed in this phase of the quiz program will need to submit their Post Office Plans in the second phase.
